I recently had a very frustrating experience with Jerry Seiner GMC South Jordan. For over a week, I attempted to get clear information about a vehicle I was seriously interested in purchasing. Unfortunately, the communication was consistently poor. The salesperson was unresponsive and did not provide clear answers to several important questions I had about the vehicle. I also made multiple requests to speak with a manager and never received a call back, which was extremely disappointing. In addition, I asked several times for clean, updated photos of the vehicle, and that request was never completed. As a serious buyer, I expected basic professionalism, transparency, and timely follow-up. Customer service plays a major role when deciding where to purchase a vehicle. Based on my experience, I did not feel valued as a potential customer and ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve communication and follow-through for future customers. I have receipts proof of everything.
I previously left a 5 star review for the staff I worked with on the first purchase at Jerry Seiner. Stephen was such a great guy to work with when I bought my GMC Canyon Denali. For the past year Bryon and Stephen have taken care of me with such great service. I wish I could say the same about the staff that I worked with this time. I just went in to have some maintenance done on my Canyon and during the waiting time I was greeted by (Ashley?) who asked if I wanted to look at any vehicles. They had a truck that I was interested in, but I had to discuss financing to make it fit our budget. I agreed to buy a truck ONLY if they were able to meet a specific payment. We worked on it and were able to make it work, or so we thought. We signed papers and when it came to the payment paper it was higher than we had agreed to. The accountant, Andy Tran, had made a mistake on the warranty that we had agreed to. It actually made the truck payment higher than we had agreed to. We were told that we could just get a reimbursement check to make up the difference of the agreed price and the price they sold it to us for so we could put that toward our monthly payment. We asked for some sort of documentation of that agreement. Leo told us that we didn't need to. We shouldn't have proceeded with the sale. We were told that we would receive an $1,800 CHECK in the mail. We waited for over 2 months to get the check and it never came. I eventually decided to call them to check on the status. The person who answered couldn't help me with the issue and said he would have the finance employee call me. It never happened. A few days later I called again and was told that they would call me back. This happened 5 TIMES! Finally I got the manager, Leo, who signed the paperwork agreeing on the $1,800 refund. I expressed my concern and frustration. He couldn't remember making that agreement. He told me that he couldn't find the agreement that we had made for the refund. He said he would look into it and told me to call him back Tuesday of the following week to check in. My wife went through the paperwork and found the written in agreement in the paperwork with his signature. I texted him on Wednesday with a photo of the signed paper to double check on the status. I got no response. Later that day I texted again and he said that he took care of it the day we talked and it should take 7-10 days to be processed. I thanked him for the time he took to take care of the issue and he didn't respond. 3 weeks later we're still waiting for a CHECK. Doing finances last night we found out that instead of sending us an $1,800 refund as promised, they applied it to our truck payment. That does nothing for us other than lower our payment for that month. We were relying on that agreed refund to apply to our payment each month. We now have that higher monthly payment that we were trying to avoid in the first place and the truck payment is now outside of our budget. In addition to this, they gave me the temporary paper license plate to tape in my window until I got the stickers for the personalized license plate that I already had that I was just going to take from my Canyon to the Tacoma. The temporary plate expired on February 2nd. I discussed this issue with them on the phone as well (once the sales rep FINALLY returned our phone call after a few previous phone calls) and they told me that I should get the registration and stickers in the mail in about 2 days. My temp plate had expired 10 days earlier. I got the stickers and registration paperwork in the mail longer than 2 days later and the registration paper said that it got registered on February 12, the day that I called. They completely forgot to take care of the registration until I called them with the issue. I will never do business here again and don't recommend them to others either.
I purchased a new GMC 3500 HD from Jerry Seiner GMC Las Vegas, and for the past year and a half, I’ve taken the truck to Jerry Seiner GMC Bountiful here in Utah for all its service needs. Recently, I received a recall notice from General Motors regarding the tailgate switch and took the truck to the Bountiful dealership to have it addressed. After replacing the recalled part, the service team informed me of something shocking: the tailgate had internal damage, and someone had used zip ties and super glue to hold it together. They explained that the damage was still present and could cause the tailgate to open on its own, even after the recall repair. My truck has never been in an accident or damaged, so I contacted both the Las Vegas dealership, where I purchased the truck, and the Bountiful dealership, where it’s been serviced. Unfortunately, neither location was willing to take responsibility for the issue. Instead, I was told to call GMC directly. It’s incredibly disappointing. This truck cost nearly $100,000, and I trusted Jerry Seiner GMC with both the sale and ongoing maintenance. To find out there’s a significant issue with the tailgate—and then be told it’s my responsibility to deal with—is beyond frustrating. I expected better accountability and customer service from a dealership group I’ve spent so much money with. It feels like once they’ve made the sale, they’re no longer invested in taking care of their customers. Sadly, I can’t recommend Jerry Seiner GMC to anyone based on this experience.
Would definately recommend Jerry Seiner's Dealership in North Salt Lake. Kymani was great! He picked-up the ball when the salesperson I was working with left the Dealership. He was courteous, pleasant, responsive and in general easy to work with. Spencer also did a great job with my out-of-state DMV paperwork, and made registering in California a breeze. Wish you had a Dealership in Southern California!

One good thing is that they got me in quickly but that's where the good ends. My truck problem was misdiagnosed and resulting in me having to take it to my local dealer to have it properly repaired when I got back to Washington from our trip. I spent over $4000.00 dollars at Jerry Seiners for what I now believe was work that didn't need to be done. My bill from my local dealer Titus Will cost me an additional $1600.00. I would like to be contacted to discuss this issue.
Very disappointed in service. I’m having to find time in my schedule to return as they did not properly install the air filter, the alignment was not done well as now my car shakes. 2.5 hours waiting for the first visit, and have to return for who knows how long, being billed labor at $74 an hour. This will be the final time I go to this dealership.
Jerry Seiner maintenance folks are very knowledgeable and friendly. They do a fantastic job on regular scheduled maintenance as well as any other tasks your vehicle may require. They are still the best price for diesel oil changes.
We looked at a vehicle on a Sunday that was on the lot. We really liked the Truck, and decided to get one like it. Thursday we filled out everything on line, and got approved. We came in that Friday following, and picked up the Truck. Edward our Salesman was great, and showed us all about our new truck. Every one helped make this a great Truck buying experience.

Dealership refused to refund a prepaid service plan after I had bought a new car. Service advisor said there was nothing he could do.
The the first time I walked into the dealership I was greeted warmly with everyone. There was absolutely no pressure at all and my wife and I felt very welcome and relaxed. When I brought my truck in for a engine light the service department staff was right on it. The showed me exactly what the problem was and took care of it on the spot.
I messaged them about a pickup they had on the lot and they never got back ahold of me. I gave them 2 days then drove by to look at the truck. I was there for 20 minutes and never had a sales person come out to help.
